They sit in their echo chambers, convinced that every young person is a woke socialist, ready to dismantle capitalism and embrace whatever the latest progressive dogma dictates. But out here, in the real America, we’re witnessing a seismic shift. The kids aren’t alright with the status quo, and they’re certainly not buying the garbage the left is selling anymore. In fact, if the trends from the 2024 election are any indicator, the youth vote isn’t just drifting right; it’s making a hard turn towards common sense, freedom, and yes, even Trump.
Think about it: what has the left offered Gen Z? Endless lectures about their privilege, the crushing weight of inflation thanks to reckless spending, the emasculation of culture, and a constant drumbeat of grievance and division. This generation grew up post-9/11, through the financial crisis, and then endured the utter madness of the COVID lockdowns and the subsequent government overreach. They’ve seen institutions fail them, media lie to them, and politicians betray them. So when a figure like Donald Trump emerges, unapologetically speaking his mind, calling out the globalists and the swamp creatures, it resonates. It’s not about party; it’s about authenticity. It’s about a populist message that says, “We the people come first,” a radical idea in today’s political landscape, but one that aligns with a deep-seated desire for self-determination and national sovereignty that is, frankly, **God-given**.
Our founding fathers, men of profound faith, understood that true liberty comes from a divine source, not from the whims of man or government. And while many young people today may not articulate it in explicitly theological terms, they instinctively recognize the difference between freedom and servitude, between a strong nation and a weak, globalist vassal state. They’re tired of being told what to think, how to feel, and what to believe. They want economic opportunity, secure borders, and a culture that values strength and family, not weakness and perpetual victimhood. They’ve seen the empty promises of the woke agenda lead only to more despair, and they’re looking for something real, something solid to anchor their lives.
Stanton’s claim that Republicans are “disengaged” from young voters is pure projection. It’s the Democrats who are disengaged from the struggles and aspirations of working-class families, from the burgeoning disillusionment with identity politics, and from the quiet craving for a return to fundamental moral principles. They see a young person on TikTok espousing a conservative viewpoint and dismiss it as an anomaly, or worse, as Russian disinformation. They can’t possibly conceive that their own failed policies and destructive cultural agenda are driving young Americans straight into the arms of the America First movement.
The truth is simple: the left has created an ideological vacuum, and nature abhors a vacuum. Young people, searching for meaning and purpose in a chaotic world, are finding it in conservative ideas, in the fight for freedom, and in the movement to make America great again. It’s a **spiritual awakening** as much as a political one, a rejection of nihilism for hope, of division for unity under God. Congressman Stanton and his ilk can keep repeating their tired narratives, but the ground is shifting beneath their feet. They can rant all they want, but the youth are waking up, and they’re not asking for permission to be patriots. We saw it happen in 2024, and it’s only gaining momentum, via gatewaypundit.
